- 12.17.08—Two years ago on Thanksgiving I had no plans to cook a dinner because everyone in my family was out of town. At the last minute, some folks came over for dinner. I had nothing to fix, so I went to the only store that was open and, low and behold, there was ONE turkey left. It was a Jennie-O Oven Ready turkey. Jennie-O saved the day!!

After a few laughs, we flipped the bird over and then enjoyed the best, most tender turkey we've ever had. I will definitely be cooking Jennie-O Oven Ready turkeys from now on!

There is always some minor turkey trauma, like no roasting pan at the rented condo, or no flour for the turkey bag, or some other misfortune.
