Turkey Sausage & Egg Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients

1 package JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE® Turkey Breakfast Sausage Patties

1 tablespoon butter or margarine

6 eggs

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground

1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

6 English muffins, split and lightly toasted

Directions

Cook turkey breakfast sausage patties as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165ºF as measured by a meat thermometer.

Meanwhile, in a non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Crack eggs into skillet. Sprinkle eggs with salt and black pepper; cook 2 minutes. Cover skillet; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until whites of eggs are set.

Sprinkle with cheddar cheese; cover and cook 1 minute or until cheese is melted. Place 2 sausage patties on each muffin bottom; top with egg and add muffin tops.
