Ingredients
1 package JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE® Lean Turkey Bratwurst
1 cup onion, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can cream-style corn
2 cups half-and-half or whole milk
1 cup fresh or frozen corn kernels
1/2 cup red or green bell pepper, finely diced
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/2 cup seasoned croutons
chives, if desired
Directions
Discard turkey bratwurst casing. In a large sauce pan, cook the bratwurst by breaking it into chunks; add onion. Cook the turkey bratwurst as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165ºF as measured by a meat thermometer. Add cream-style corn, half-and-half, corn kernels, bell pepper, black pepper, and hot pepper sauce. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Ladle into soup bowls; top with croutons, and chives, if desired.
