Ingredients
1 (10-ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
1 package JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE® Extra Lean Turkey Bacon
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup green onions, sliced
1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Roll dough on lightly floured surface into 14x10-inch rectangle. Carefully in prepared dish, pressing up sides of pan. Bake 15 minutes in heated. Remove from oven and set aside.
Cook 1 package JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE® Extra Lean Turkey Bacon as specified on the package; crumble and set aside.
Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually stir in milk; cook and stir until thickened.
Add cheeese; stir until melted. Spread cheese sauce evenly over baked crust.
Sprinkle with bacon, green onions and bell pepper. Bake, uncovered, about 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
Always cook turkey until the internal temperature registers 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
