Is there anything more patriotic than grilling a burger? This delicious weeknight dinner recipe is topped with crunchy homemade coleslaw and pairs well with off-key renditions of the national anthem.

1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast

¼ cup barbeque sauce

2 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs

2 cups thinly shredded cabbage

¼ cup shredded carrots

¼ cup sliced red onion

3 tablespoons fat-free mayonnaise

2 teaspoons lime juice

2 teaspoons sugar

4 reduced-calorie hamburger buns, split


STEP 1: Prepare grill for medium-hot direct heat cooking.

STEP 2: Combine ground turkey, barbeque sauce and bread crumbs in a medium bowl. Mix well. Divide mixture into four portions and shape patties.

STEP 3: Place patties on grill. Cook the burgers as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.

STEP 4: For coleslaw, combine cabbage, carrots, red onion, mayonnaise, lime juice and sugar in bowl. Mix well.

STEP 5: Serve burgers topped with prepared coleslaw on whole grain hamburger buns.

Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.
