Ingredients
1 package JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE® Lean Ground Turkey
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
oil
classic coleslaw (see below)
2 cups cabbage, thinly shredded
1/4 cups carrots, shredded
1/4 cup red onion, sliced
3 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 teaspoons lime juice
2 teaspoons sugar
4 whole grain hamburger buns, split
Directions
Prepare grill for medium-hot direct heat cooking. In bowl, combine ground turkey, barbecue sauce, and bread crumbs; mix well. Divide mixture into 4 portions and shape into 1/2 inch thick patties.
Brush grill rack with oil. Place patties on grill. Cook the burgers as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
Classic coleslaw: In large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, red onion, mayonnaise, lime juice, and sugar; mix well. Serve patties topped with prepared coleslaw on whole grain hamburger buns.
