Ingredients
1 package JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE® Lean Ground Turkey
1 red bell pepper, finely diced
1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
1 cup white onion, finely diced
3/4 cup old fashioned dry oats
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 package of dry onion soup mix
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup ketchup, divided
6 whole wheat sandwich thins
mustard, if desired
Directions
In medium sized bowl, mix the first eleven ingredients together (reserve 1/4 cup ketchup). Mold into 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350°F for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature is 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer. Remove loaf from oven and top with remaining 1/4 cup ketchup. Turn oven temperature to broil, and put loaf back in the oven for 3-4 minutes to glaze the ketchup topping.
Slice and serve on whole wheat sandwich thins. Add mustard, if desired.
