Guacamole Chicken Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Ground Chicken
  • 1 (8-ounce) package WHOLLY GUACAMOLE® Spicy Guacamole, divided
  • ⅓ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt, if desired
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons canned chipotles in adobo sauce, minced
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • lettuce leaves, tomato slices, guacamole

Directions

  1. Heat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In bowl, combine chicken, ½ cup guacamole, breadcrumbs, salt, cumin and black pepper; mix well. Form into four patties. Brush patties with oil.
  3. Place patties on grill. Grill 7 minutes or until well browned on bottom. Turn. Grill 7 minutes longer or until patties are cooked through. Always cook to 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
  4. In small bowl, combine mayonnaise and chipotles. Serve burgers on buns with chipotle-mayo mixture and lettuce. Serve remaining guacamole with burgers.
