Peanut Turkey Rolls

Homemade eggrolls are one of life’s great pleasures. These little bundles of fried Asian joy are stuffed with lean turkey breast, crunchy cabbage and white rice. Ready to devour in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage mixture
  • 1 cup diced JENNIE-O® Tender Browned Turkey Breast, from the service deli
  • ½ cup peanut sauce
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • oil for frying
  • honey, if desired
  • peanuts, if desired

Directions

  1. In large bowl, combine rice, cabbage, turkey and peanut sauce. Place a heaping teaspoon of mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper. Lightly moisten the outside edges of each skin with a small amount of water. Fold two edges inward and roll wrapper; gently pressing edges to seal.
  2. Fry rolls in hot oil at 350°F approximately 2 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.
  3. Dip with honey and chopped peanuts, if desired.
