
Thai Turkey Wraps
Try this lean take on a classic Southeast Asian recipe — ground turkey breast mixed with fresh carrots, ginger, chilies and cilantro, wrapped in bib lettuce. A fresh taste that’s carb conscious and low in fat!



Ingredients
- 1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast
- 2 heads Bibb lettuce
- 1 carrot, peeled and diced
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
- juice of 1½ limes
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- 1 red pepper, diced
- ½ cucumber, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped roasted cashews
Directions
- Cook turkey as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer. Immediately transfer meat to a shallow dish and cool in refrigerator.
- Remove core from head of lettuce; wash and dry leaves. Combine carrot and next nine ingredients. Stir in cooked and chilled turkey.
- Arrange lettuce leaves on the outer rim of a serving plate. Spoon turkey mixture onto the center of each lettuce leaf to create wraps. Garnish with cashews.
