Ingredients

  • 8 slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon
  • 8 ounces fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 (6-ounce) package baby spinach
  • 1 small red onion, cut into thin rings
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Cook the bacon as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer. Drain on paper towels and crumble when cool. In large salad bowl, combine strawberries, spinach, bacon and onion.
  2. In small bowl, whisk together sugar, oil, balsamic vinegar, sesame seeds, paprika and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over spinach mixture. Toss to coat.
