Breakfast Bake with Turkey Bacon

Ingredients

  • 7 slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon
  • 8 slices bread
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1½ cups egg substitute or 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Cook turkey bacon as specified on the package. Set aside.
  2. Arrange bread on work surface and top with bacon, half the onion and half the cheese. Top with remaining bread slices. Cut sandwiches in half and arrange in casserole dish. Top with sliced tomatoes.
  3. Whisk eggs, mustard, milk and Worcestershire sauce and pour over sandwiches. Refrigerate 6 to 24 hours. Sprinkle casserole with remaining cheese and green onions. Bake 1 hour or until center is set. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
