Philly Style Turkey Roll

Ingredients

  • 4 long hot peppers, such as poblamo or ancho
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 pound broccoli rabe, trimmed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • ¼ cup Italian dressing, divided
  • 8 ounces JENNIE-O® sliced All Natural Oven Browned Turkey Breast, from the service deli
  • 4 Italian rolls, split and toasted
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese, halved
  • 8 PELOPONNESE® red pepper strips, drained

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Half peppers and remove seeds. Place on baking sheet. Drizzle with 1 teaspoon oil. Roast peppers 20 minutes or until softened; let cool. Cut into strips; set aside.
  2. In large pot of boiling water, cook broccoli rabe 3 minutes to remove bitterness; drain. In large skillet, heat remaining oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and crushed red pepper. Cook 1 minute or until fragrant. Add broccoli rabe and ½ cup water. Cook 3 minutes or until tender; drain.
  3. In large skillet, heat half dressing over medium-high heat. Add turkey. Cover. Heat 3 minutes or until turkey is hot.
  4. Top roll halves with cheese, broccoli rabe, turkey and red pepper strips. Serve with roasted hot peppers.
