Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Ground Turkey
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 1 large zucchini, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes with chilies, undrained
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) canned tomato sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 6 hamburger buns, split

Directions

  1. Cook turkey as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
  2. Add onion, carrots, zucchini, chili powder, seasoning, paprika and garlic; sauté 5 minutes or until onions are softened. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and water. Simmer, 15 minutes or until mixture is thickened stirring occasionally. Serve on buns.
