Heat oven to 375°F.

In kettle, heat oil. Add onions and cook until tender. Add broth, garlic and spices and bring to a boil.

In baking pan, add prepared rice, turkey, jalapeño, peas and carrots. Add broth stir and cover.

Bake 30 minutes. Sprinkle with almonds.
