pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes (about 4 to 5 cups)

cup brown sugar

cup maple syrup

Heat oven to 375°. Butter casserole dish.

Boil sweet potatoes in water until tender, about 20-30 minutes. Drain and mash.

Mix in sugar, maple syrup, milk, eggs, butter, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.

In small bowl mix brown sugar, flour, butter and pecans until it forms crumbs. Sprinkle it on top of sweet potatoes.

Bake until golden brown on top, about 30 minutes.
