(19.5-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Hot Italian Turkey Sausage
cloves garlic, minced
cup low-fat plain Greek yogurt
teaspoon ground cumin
cup chopped fresh mint
whole wheat pita bread, split and toasted
Bibb lettuce leaves
roasted red peppers, chopped
canned artichokes, sliced
cup ripe olives, halved
cup basil pesto
cup diced red onion
Spray skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat skillet over medium-high heat. Place dinner sausage in hot skillet. Cook uncovered, turning occasionally, 17-19 minutes. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
Cut sausages into 1/2-inch thick slices; set aside.
In small bowl, combine garlic, yogurt, cumin and mint; set aside.
Heat pita on grill 2 minutes each side.
Cut each pita bread in half. Open pita halves and spread with yogurt mixture. Add lettuce, sausage, peppers, artichokes and olives. Drizzle with pesto and sprinkle with red onion.
