Ingredients

  • ½ (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast
  • 1 (15 to 16-ounce) can great northern beans, drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup finely crushed saltine crackers
  • 2 tablespoons barbeque sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 5 leaves lettuce
  • 5 whole-grain hamburger buns, split
  • 5 teaspoons barbeque sauce
  • sliced tomato, if desired
  • sliced onion, if desired

Directions

  1. Prepare grill. In large bowl, mix turkey, beans, cracker crumbs, 2 tablespoons barbeque sauce, pepper and egg. Shape into 5 patties. Cook patties as specifed on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
  2. Place lettuce and patties on bun bottom. Spread patty with remaining barbeque sauce. Top with tomato and onion, if desired. Cover with bun tops.
