asparagus spears, trimmed
tablespoon chopped fresh dill
tablespoon olive oil
slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon, halved
roasted red pepper hummus, if desired
Prepare grill. Bring large pot of water to boil. Add asparagus. Blanch 10 seconds or until bright green. Remove and add to bowl of iced water. Let stand 5 minutes; drain.
Toss asparagus, dill and oil in large shallow dish. Wrap piece of bacon around each asparagus spear. Grill asparagus 5 to 7 minutes, turning once until bacon is crisp.
Always cook to well-done, 165°F. as measured by a meat thermometer.
Serve with hummus or dip of your choice.
