Any sandwich is better with melted cheese. This one takes it to the next level with crisply bacon, fresh-sliced deli turkey, cranberries, melted pepper jack and fresh tomato. Under 500 calories per serving!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon
  • 8 ounces thinly sliced JENNIE-O® Tender Browned Turkey, from the service deli
  • 4 reduced-calorie whole wheat hamburger buns
  • 8 teaspoons dried cranberries
  • 4 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 1 large tomato, cut into 8 slices
  • 4 tablespoons fat-free ranch dressing
  • freshly ground pepper, if desired

Directions

  1. Cook turkey bacon as specified on the package; set aside. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer. Heat broiler. On baking sheet, layer turkey on bun bottom. Top with bacon, dried cranberries and cheese. Broil 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven.
  2. Top each sandwich with 2 tomato slices, ranch dressing and bun top.
