This leaner take on a classic recipe is just as delicious as the original. Chili Mac with Turkey is ready in under 30 minutes and packs 26g of protein per serving!
ounces whole grain macaroni
(16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Ground Turkey Roll
tablespoons pinto beans, drained and rinsed
(12-ounce) can diced tomatoes
(6-ounce) can tomato paste
tablespoon taco seasoning
ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 350°F.
Cook macaroni until al dente. Rinse and drain.
Spray skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey to hot skillet. Stir to crumble, approximately 14 to 16 minutes. Always cook to well-done, 165°F. as measured by a meat thermometer.
Add macaroni, pinto beans, tomatoes, tomato paste and seasoning. Stir to combine.
Add mixture to 9 x 9-inch baking dish and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture is hot.
