Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 4 slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon, diced
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

  1. In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add bacon, onion and garlic. Cook 5 minutes or until bacon is crisp and onion is softened, stirring occasionally. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
  2. Steam green beans until tender-crisp. Add to bacon mixture. Add lemon juice; toss to combine.
